Chupa Chups – A Clever Campaign with a Scientific Twist

Chupa Chups has launched a new campaign in the UK that mixes creativity with a touch of science. Created by BBH London, the idea is simple and smart: molecular models built from their classic lollipops and sticks. The result? A playful, science-inspired take on what fun is made of.

The visuals show molecules of dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins, the “happiness chemicals” - all built from Chupa Chups. It’s a clever way to say that the brand is a timeless source of joy itself. The campaign builds on the brand’s strong visual identity, including its logo designed by Salvador Dalí, and brings it into a new space by turning scientific shapes into something artistic and unexpected in public places.

Chupa Chups demonstrates that a brand doesn’t need complex messages to stand out. By using a clear image and a powerful idea, it connects with its audience, makes them smile, and most importantly, reminds them of the brand in their daily lives. It’s a great example of how a clear concept meets an excellent creative execution.
