George Kempster turns the postage stamp into a graphic playground.

 

The Manchester-born designer creates posters with perforated edges, bold frames and compact compositions inspired by classic stamp design.

But instead of monarchs, flags or monuments, he fills them with landscapes, waterfalls, playful phrases and small visual jokes.

The format may feel nostalgic, but the result is fresh.

Stamps once carried images and stories around the world. Today, they have almost disappeared from everyday life.

Kempster brings that visual language back, not for envelopes, but for walls.
